Paulava Republic was a farmer community and a micro-state in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth with its own parliament, army, and laws.
Located around the Merkinė Manor in present-day Šalčininkai District Municipality, Lithuania, it covered an area of 30.4 km2 and had about 800 residents.
