Pelitköy is a large village in west Turkey. It is located in Burhaniye, Balıkesir Province and is 2 km from Çanakkale-İzmir Way. It is known for its beach, and its olives and olive products. Pelit means oak fruit in Turkish; its name translates as "oak fruit village".
