The church was built by Jesuits in 1653 and went through many restorations since then. A fire destroyed quite a big part of it, but most of it was preserved. You can admire its beautiful interior including the paintings on walls and six side chapels.
It's available to the public an hour before a service. Services take time on Saturday at 6:00 am, 6:00 pm and Sunday 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 6:00 pm.
