Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint

Situated 355 meters above sea level, this is where you need to go to view the entire city of Funchal from above. This is also where the locals meet on New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks.

There is a café, a restaurant and some stalls where you can buy souvenirs and crafts. Toilets can be found here as well.

You can easily get here by local buses going from the city center - number 9 or 13.
