One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States. It covers an area of almost nine acres and it gets visited by nearly 10 million people every year.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, meat or fish are not the only things you can purchase here. Many craftsmen have their stalls here and you can also find an apothecary with plenty of healthy herbs.
One of the most famous attractions is the Pike Place Fish Market, where you have to be careful not to get hit by a "flying fish". The vendors here have a special way of passing the fish from one person to another – they simply throw them around.
The overall experience is topped-up by the omnipresent buskers, who help to create the special atmosphere of this place.
