The name of this opera house has been changed several times, opening as the New German Theater, then changing to the Smetana Theater, and then, finally, State Opera. There are about 300 performances staged every year and witnessing one is a lifetime experience. Once inside, be sure to marvel at its Neo-Rococo décor.
Unfortunatelly, the building is currently under reconstruction and the interior cannot be accessed.
