An impressive mural, more than 100 meters long made out of 25,000 porcelain tiles depicting the lineage of Saxony princes. It's a must-see when you're in Dresden.
The mural was created in the 1870s and it depicts the family history of the ruling family of Saxony - the Wettins. You can find 93 people here (out of which only 35 are members of the nobility) and even the author of the mural himself. At the beginning of the 20th century, the mural was recast onto porcelain tiles so it would not be ruined by weather anymore.
Accessible 24/7.
