The beach is located in one of the most expensive residential areas in HK. Easily accessible by public transport, it is popular with both locals and visitors also for its clean water and sandy beach.
The facilities include volleyball courts, playgrounds, changing rooms, showers, bathrooms and kiosks. Lifeguards supervise the beach from March through November.
The beach also features two statues of Taoist goddesses worshiped by fishermen and sailors.
