Roman Bridge of Córdoba

Local namePuente Romano
LocationCórdoba, Spain

This magnificent bridge is probably the first thing you notice when approaching the historic center of Cordóba. Constructed in the 1st century BC by Romans, the bridge has been rebuilt many times since then. Most of the current structure (and its 16 arches) dates back to the Moorish reconstruction in the 8th century.
