Known also as SFMOMA, this huge museum houses incredibly rich collection of modern and contemporary art. Even before stepping inside, spend a while with admiring the imposing architecture of the building.
Inside, you will have the chance of exploring more than 30 000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and photography. Marvel at collections by Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock and Roy Lichtenstein. You are also invited to join a number of exhibition tours, gallery talks and other events organized by the museum.
You are strongly advised to book your tickets in advance. When all online tickets are booked, there is a limited amount of tickets available onsite. Mind that even those who can enter for free (under 18 and members) have to obtain a ticket.

Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
