The museum is a housed in a serene Benedictine monastery dating back to 992. The monastery was merged with an abbey in the 12th century and features a majestic bell tower and a beautiful cloister. It is a great example of Catalan Romanesque architecture. The museum displays a large collection of findings of Greek and Roman origin.
