São Bento is not only the main railway terminus in Porto, but also a neat sight to see. The interior is decorated with tiled walls with pictures that tell the stories from Portuguese history. The name of the station comes from a Benedictine monastery that once stood here.
The station is connected with São Bento Metro Station (line D).
The ticket offices are usually opened from 6:40 am to 8:35 pm.
