Shima is a city in Mie Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 December 2021, the city had an estimated population of 47,272 in 22,599 households and a population density of 270 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 179.67 square kilometres. Shima hosted the 2016 G7 Summit.
