Though not particularly swimmer-friendly, surfers can put on a spectacular show here thanks to the extraordinary waves. Due to strong currents, swimming is allowed only between the flags.
Adjacent to the beach, there is a nice parkland with many picnic areas - great for a family afternoon. There are also numerous fishing spots along the beach.
