The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum

Danubiana is a musem of modern art located on the Danube river about 30 km from Bratislava. Its exhibitions change over time and include both Slovak and international works of modern art.

It's a place for those who have additional time to spend on their visit of Bratislava and are interested in modern art. Due to its location on the Danube river, it is a nice place for some relaxing time spent admiring art and walking around the sculpture park.

It is a detour from the capital city, about a 35 minute bus drive from the new Slovak National Theatre. On summer weekends you can also travel by ship from the Fajnorovo nábrežie dock in Bratislava, tickets can be purchased online on the cruise site or at the dock and you can enjoy a 60 minute long sail on the Danube river.
