Monastery of the Holy Trinity, Meteora

The main church of the complex is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and it is decorated with beautiful frescoes dating back to the 17th century. It was founded in the 15th century and 200 years later, a small sacristy was added to it.

The monastery owned several manuscripts but since 1953, they have been kept in St Stephen's Holy Monastery. Part of this complex was used in the final scenes of the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only.
