Located along the river Spree, this vast park is a popular place for a day out, both among the locals and the tourists. It's full of people strolling around, jogging and cycling and you can find also several BBQ spots here.
Apart from a famous memorial, the park is also home to Spreepark, now an abandoned theme park. Though long closed down, you can still see the giant Ferris wheel.
