A Gothic Revival building located in Manhattan and an active parish church. Its breathtaking interior is definitely worth visiting, for example for the magnificent stained glass.
There are three cemeteries in total in the Trinity Church Campus. One of its cemeteries remains the only active cemetery on Manhattan. There are many famous people buried at Trinity Church Cemetery: e.g. Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers, or Robert Fulton, an American engineer.
The guided tour and the entrance are free but the opening hours are adjusted so that the tours would not collide with the services. The place is very popular so be prepared for many tourists. Also, since it is an active church, respectful behaviour is expected.
Due to rejuvenation, no tours of the church interior will be offered, but tours of Trinity's churchyard are available by request, weather permitting.
Tours of St. Paul’s Chapel are offered on Sundays after the 11:15 am service.
