Located on the grounds of the US Capitol, this botanic garden features a conservatory, a rose garden, and even a butterfly house. You can explore both local and exotic flora, and also join one of many educative programs and events organized here.
Though there are no dining facilities in the garden, there are tables and chairs installed here so bring lunch and enjoy your meal in a marvelous setting.
The National Garden is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The outdoor garden has extended evening hours staying open until 7 p.m. from April 1 to September 15 each year.
Bartholdi Park is open from dawn to dusk.
