A nice trip up to Urpín viewpoint has two starting points, either you start at the railway station which is a little harder as the trail leads up the hill, or you park your car under Kalvária and go up through a meadow which is more suitable for children. From this viewpoint you can see the whole city of Banská Bystrica, Big Fatra and the Low Tatras.
