Vejano

Vejano is a comune in the Province of Viterbo, formerly known as Tuscia, in the Italian region of Latium, located about 60 kilometres northwest of Rome and about 40 kilometres south of Viterbo on the Mignone river. It is an agricultural village at an altitude of about 400 meters, situated between the hills of Tolfa and Cimini. The main monument of the village is La Rocca, an imposing castle, excavated in tuff rock, with a triangular shape and fortified walls.
