Viratnagar

Bairat, formerly known as Viratnagar, is a town in northern Jaipur district of Rajasthan, India. It is located 52 kilometres north of Jaipur, and 66 kilometres west of Alwar.The country of the Matsyas lay to the south or south west of Indraprastha{ and to the south of Sūrasena. The capital of the Matsya country was Virāṭanagara or Vairat, so called because it was the capital of Virāṭa, King of the Matsyas.
