One of the most memorable buildings in Nuremberg, this beautiful half-timbered house is the longest of its kind in the entire Germany.

The Weinstadel, which literally translates as a wine cellar, had witnessed a tumultuous history. Built in the 15th century, it originally served as a house for lepers, only to be changed into a wine cellar later on. Nowadays, it is used as a student's dormitory.
