This literary museum is devoted to three outstanding Scottish writers. The museum houses a collection dedicated to Robert Burns, a Scottish national poet and lyricist. There is also collection focusing on Robert Louis Stevenson, a poet and novelist, the author of Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Last but not least, the remaining collection is devoted to Sir Walter Scott, a Scottish historical novelist, playwright, and poet.

The museum displays rare books, manuscripts, personal objects, portraits, writing desks, and many more memorabilia. Worth the visit for every lover of literature.
