Jurong East serves as Singapore's western commercial hub and a major leisure destination. It houses the Science Centre Singapore, featuring over 1,000 interactive exhibits and the Omni-Theatre’s 8K digital planetarium. The area is also home to Jurong Lake Gardens, a 90-hectare national garden encompassing the Chinese and Japanese Gardens.
