San Juan’s coastline ranges from the high-energy resort strip of Condado Beach to the protected, family-friendly waters of Playita de Condado. Balneario Escambrón features rock formations that create calm swimming areas and snorkeling spots. To the east, Ocean Park Beach offers a wide sandy stretch popular for kite surfing and beach volleyball, ending at Playa Ultimo Trolley. These shores provide a mix of urban entertainment districts and tranquil parks within the Santurce and Condado neighborhoods.
