Museums & Heritage

Albania’s history spans from antiquity to the 20th century. This collection features the UNESCO-listed ruins of Buthrotum and the Greek trade colony of Apollonia. In Tirana, the National Historical Museum and Bunk’Art 2 document the country's transition from Ottoman influence to the Cold War era. Religious heritage is represented by the Shkodër Cathedral and the Orthodox St. Nicholas Monastery Church in Mesopotam. Notable landmarks include the Roman Amphitheatre of Durrës and the Skanderbeg Museum in Krujë, dedicated to Albania’s national hero.
