Arraial D'Ajuda’s coastline is defined by its coral reefs, red sandstone cliffs, and calm natural pools formed during low tide. This selection includes the central, amenity-rich shores near the village and the southern stretches bordered by the high falesias of the Discovery Coast. The local geography ranges from the brackish waters near the Buranhém River mouth to reef-protected bays suitable for swimming and snorkeling.

Praia do Mucugê

The most central beach in the village, featuring numerous kiosks and natural pools formed by offshore reefs during low tide.

Praia de Pitinga

Characterized by high, multi-colored sandstone cliffs and calm waters protected by coral reefs. Natural pools appear at low tide.

Praia do Apaga Fogo

Situated at the mouth of the Buranhém River, where the water is a mix of river and sea. Features natural pools and conditions for windsurfing.

Praia dos Pescadores

A traditional spot for local fishing boats located between Mucugê and Araçaípe, with shade provided by almond trees.

Praia de Araçaípe
