Best Beaches

Bozcaada’s coastline features a mix of organized sandy stretches and secluded rocky bays. Ayazma and Habbele on the southern coast offer fine sand and established facilities, while the northern Çayır Koyu provides consistent winds suitable for kitesurfing. Many beaches, such as Beylik and Tuzburnu, remain undeveloped, characterized by crystal-clear Aegean waters that stay cool even during peak summer months due to local currents.

Ayazma Plajı

Bozcaada's largest beach, featuring fine golden sand and shallow, cold waters. The area is well-equipped with sunbed rentals and several traditional tavernas located just above the shoreline.

Avana Plajı

A sandy beach located on the eastern side of the island. It is known for its accessibility and proximity to the main town center.

Habbele Plajı

Situated next to Ayazma, this beach offers a quieter alternative with a mix of sand and small pebbles. It includes private beach clubs and calm, clear waters.

Mitos Beach

An organized beach area within Habbele, featuring sunbeds, umbrellas, and dining services on a sandy stretch of the southern coast.

Tuzburnu Plajı

Located at the island's eastern tip near the lighthouse. This area is often windy and characterized by a rocky shoreline, offering a more secluded environment without commercial facilities.

Çayır Koyu Plajı

A wide bay on the northern coast known for its strong north winds, making it the island's primary location for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Beylik Plajı

A secluded cove located between Ayazma and Sulubahçe. It has no facilities and was historically known for the shipwreck located just off its shore.

Ova Sahili

A quiet, natural beach on the western side of the island with no commercial developments, offering a peaceful environment and clear views of the Aegean.
