Brno’s cultural landscape spans from medieval fortifications like Špilberk Castle and the remote Veveří Castle to the functionalist purity of the UNESCO-listed Villa Tugendhat. The city's history is preserved in the world’s second-largest ossuary at the Church of St. James and the oldest theater in Central Europe, the Reduta.
