Durmitor Peaks

Durmitor National Park’s limestone massif features a concentration of peaks exceeding 2,000 meters. This selection includes Bobotov Kuk, the highest point at 2,523 meters, and Prutaš, known for its distinctive vertical rock strata. The list covers geological highlights like the jagged Zupci spires and the Obla glava peak, which houses the year-round Ice Cave (Ledena pećina). These summits offer panoramic views across the Tara River Canyon and the glacial lakes known as 'Mountain Eyes.'

Curevac

A 1,625-meter viewpoint providing a direct vertical perspective into the Tara River Canyon, the deepest gorge in Europe.

Sedlo (Sedlene grede)

A 2,227-meter peak shaped like a saddle, located adjacent to Montenegro's highest paved mountain pass.

Prutaš

Standing at 2,393 meters, this peak is distinguished by vertical limestone layers resembling bundles of rods, known locally as prutovi.

Zupci

A series of sharp, jagged limestone spires resembling teeth that dominate the alpine landscape near the glacial lake Zeleni Vir.

Planinica

A 2,330-meter peak offering expansive views of the Skrka Lakes and the vertical western face of the central Durmitor massif.

Obla glava

This 2,303-meter peak contains the Ledena Pećina (Ice Cave) beneath its summit, where ice stalactites and stalagmites persist throughout the year.

Šljeme (Istočni vrh)

The second-highest peak in the range at 2,455 meters, featuring a broad plateau that overlooks the Black Lake and the town of Žabljak.

Bandijerna

A 2,409-meter summit in the central massif, frequently climbed as part of the high-altitude trail originating from the Sedlo pass.

Đevojka (Soa)

A 2,440-meter peak situated along the Soa Nebeska ridge, forming part of the park's highest rock wall alongside Bobotov Kuk.
