Kamnik, one of Slovenia's oldest towns, is defined by its medieval architecture and strategic alpine location. The town features a unique trio of castles: the hilltop ruins of Stari grad, the central Mali grad with its Romanesque chapel, and the Renaissance-style Zaprice Castle.
