Alpine Huts and Shelters

This collection features traditional mountain shelters and alpine pastures across the Kaisergebirge, Brandenberg Alps, and Mangfall Mountains. These huts, many managed by the Austrian or German Alpine Clubs, serve as essential basecamps for hikers and climbers. Situated at altitudes ranging from 1,100 to over 1,800 meters, these locations provide regional Tyrolean and Bavarian cuisine, overnight accommodations, and access to established high-altitude trail networks.
