Lebanon's Natural Wonders

Lebanon’s topography features the Jeita Grotto’s limestone caverns, the 255-meter Baatara Gorge waterfall, and Qurnat as Sawda, the highest peak in the Levant at 3,088 meters. Coastal landmarks include Beirut’s Pigeon Rocks, while the interior contains the Mount Hermon range and the rock-cut cave fortress of Niha. These sites highlight the country's karstic geology, featuring deep sinkholes, subterranean rivers, and dramatic limestone cliff formations shaped by millions of years of erosion.
