Mountain Huts & Shelters

This collection features essential accommodation and emergency shelters along the main ridge of the Low Tatras. It includes fully-serviced alpine lodges like Chata pod Kráľovou Hoľou and Chata Magurka, alongside basic log cabins like Útulňa Andrejcová and Ramža. These locations are critical waypoints for hikers on the Cesta hrdinov SNP trail, offering drinking water sources, fireplaces, and basic overnight facilities in remote mountain terrain ranging from the eastern Kráľova hoľa massif to the western peaks.

Útulňa Andrejcová

Log cabin on the main ridge in the Kráľovohoľské Tatry section. It features a nearby drinking water source and provides basic overnight facilities for hikers.

Útulňa Ďurková pod Chabencom

High-altitude refuge located below Chabenec peak. It offers basic mattress accommodation, a small buffet with hot meals, and serves as a key stop on the main ridge trail.

Chata pod Kráľovou Hoľou
