This selection highlights the diverse landscape of the Moravian Karst and its surroundings. The 19th-century Alexandrova observation tower offers views near Adamov, while the pilgrimage church in Křtiny showcases radical Baroque architecture and a monumental dome. Natural highlights include the Hády nature reserve’s limestone quarries and the Rudické propadání, home to one of the country’s highest waterfalls. Underground, the Výpustek show cave and the Punkva Caves provide access to extensive karst systems, including the 138-meter deep Macocha Abyss and subterranean boat routes.
