Phoenix Park spans over 700 hectares as one of Europe's largest enclosed public parks. It contains the 62-meter-tall Wellington Monument, the largest obelisk in Europe, and the 15th-century Ashtown Castle tower house. The grounds host Dublin Zoo, the bastion-style Magazine Fort, and Áras an Uachtaráin, the official residence of the President of Ireland.
