Zhongshan Park

Established in 1901 as a German plant research station, this park features extensive cherry blossom groves, a zoo, and a cable car. It is one of the city's oldest and largest green spaces.

No. 1 Bathing Beach

Located on Huiquan Bay, this 580-meter sandy beach was once the largest in Asia. It is known for its calm waters and proximity to the historic Badaguan architectural area.

May Fourth Square

A central urban square featuring the 'May Wind' sculpture, a large red spiraling monument. It serves as a focal point for the city's modern skyline and overlooks the Olympic Sailing Center.

Shi Lao Ren Beach

Qingdao's largest public beach, named after a 17-meter-high rock formation in the sea resembling an old man. It offers wider sandy shores and clearer water than the downtown beaches.

Xiao mai dao gong yuan

A former fishing island connected to the mainland by a causeway. The park features grassy slopes and a coastal boardwalk offering 360-degree views of the Laoshan coastline and Fushan Bay.

No. 3 Bathing Beach

Situated at the eastern end of Taiping Cape, this beach is smaller and quieter than No. 1 Bathing Beach. It provides a direct view of the city's central business district skyscrapers.

Yanerdaoshan Park

A coastal park located on a peninsula featuring a wooden boardwalk built along rugged cliffs. It offers views of the Yellow Sea near the Olympic Sailing Center.

Taipingjiao Park

Located within the Badaguan area, this park features wooded paths that connect historic European-style villas to the coastline and the No. 3 Bathing Beach.

Music Square

A seaside plaza adjacent to May Fourth Square featuring a large piano-shaped sculpture and statues of famous composers. The square frequently hosts outdoor musical performances.

Qingdao Mountain Park (Jingshan)

Site of the former German Bismarck Battery, this park contains preserved underground bunkers and artillery fortifications from the early 20th century with views over the historic Old Town.

Observatory Hill Park

Home to the Qingdao Observatory built in 1905, this hill marks the 'China Altitude Zero' point. It offers views of the harbor and the nearby Signal Hill Park.

Bai hua yuan

A botanical garden and memorial park featuring sculptures of notable Chinese cultural figures and diverse floral displays, located near the Qingdao Art Museum.
