Shaoxing’s landscape is defined by its integration of water and stone. This collection features East Lake, a former quarry with dramatic cliffs and narrow canals, alongside historical hill parks like Fushan and Jishan, which house ancient academies and towers. Cultural squares like Jiyu Square offer insight into the city’s ancestral worship traditions, while urban spaces like City Square preserve Tang Dynasty pagodas within modern greenery.

Dong hu

Former stone quarry featuring dramatic cliffs, caves, and narrow waterways. The site is best explored via traditional black-awning Wupeng boats.

Fu shan gong yuan

Historical site of the ancient Yue State capital. The park contains the Yue Wang Terrace and Fushan Tower, offering panoramic views of the city.

Ta shan yuan

Home to the Yingtian Pagoda, a brick-and-wood structure dating back to the Tang Dynasty, situated on a small hill.
