Historic Taipei

Taipei’s architectural landscape reflects its transition from a Qing dynasty walled city to a Japanese colonial hub and modern capital. This collection features the four surviving city gates—North, South, East, and Minor South—alongside grand Japanese-era structures like the Presidential Office Building and the former Monopoly Bureau.
