Portland’s riverfront and Old Town offer a dense concentration of botanical spaces and public installations. This collection highlights the Lan Su Chinese Garden’s traditional Ming Dynasty-style architecture and the Japanese American Historical Plaza’s basalt carvings. Along the Willamette River, the Eastbank Esplanade features a series of 2001 industrial-inspired sculptures by the Rigga collective, including Echo Gate and Stack Stalk. The list also features Mill Ends Park, recognized as the world’s smallest, and the historic Chinatown Gateway, bridging the city's natural landscapes with its urban art heritage.
