Opened in 2015, this natural history museum focuses on the various cetacean species found in Icelandic waters. The exhibition space contains 23 life-sized models of whales, complemented by interactive exhibits and educational displays regarding whale biology and conservation efforts.
The facility provides audio guides in 17 languages and hosts daily live guided tours. The museum is open to the public and functions as an educational center for marine life and environmental awareness.
