Macedonia-Thrace Essentials

Northern Greece’s Macedonia and Thrace regions preserve the legacy of the Kingdom of Macedon and the Byzantine Empire. This selection features the UNESCO-listed Royal Tombs of Aigai and the ancient city of Philippi. Natural landmarks include Mount Olympus, Greece’s highest peak, and the Giola natural pool on Thasos.
