Brno’s performing arts scene spans centuries of architectural and cultural history. The Reduta Theatre, dating back to 1640, is the oldest theatre building in Central Europe and hosted a young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1767. Mahen Theatre, established in 1882, represents grand 19th-century design. Modern additions include the Divadlo na Orlí, a contemporary venue for musical theatre, while the Hussite Church in Královo Pole integrates a constructivist theatrical stage within a place of worship.
