Bușteni's Must-See Marvels

Bușteni serves as a primary access point to the Bucegi Mountains, featuring both architectural heritage and geological landmarks. Cantacuzino Castle, completed in 1911 in the Neo-Romanian style, overlooks the Prahova Valley. The high-altitude plateau, reached via the Bușteni cable car, contains the wind-sculpted Sphinx and Babele rock formations. Nearby, the Urlătoarea Waterfall drops 15 meters at an altitude of 1,100 meters, while Cabana Babele provides a central hub for high-altitude hiking trails at 2,206 meters.

A 15-meter-high waterfall located at an altitude of 1,100 meters. Formed by the Urlătoarea stream, it is accessible via a forest trail from the town.
