Cultural Landmarks

This collection highlights the architectural and historical diversity of Ganja, Azerbaijan's second-largest city. It features the 18th-century Khan's Garden, one of the oldest parks in the Caucasus, and the unique Bottle House, built with nearly 50,000 glass bottles. The list also includes the Triumphal Arch, the tomb of Javad Khan, and monuments celebrating the city's literary heritage and its modern status as a former European Youth Capital.

Zəfər Tağı

A monumental arch located at the entrance to the city near Heydar Aliyev Park. Standing 20 meters high, the structure features an observation deck and classical architectural elements.

Xan bağı

Established in 1700, this historic park is one of the oldest in the Caucasus. It contains rare tree species, shaded walking paths, and was named after the last ruler of the Ganja Khanate.

Bottle house

A unique private residence constructed in the 1960s by Ibrahim Jaffarov using approximately 50,000 glass bottles. The facade includes colorful mosaics and a memorial to the builder's brother.

Cavad Khan

A monument and tomb dedicated to Javad Khan, the last ruler of the Ganja Khanate, who died in 1804. It is located in the city center near the historic Shah Abbas Mosque.

Bayraq meydani

A public square featuring a massive national flag of Azerbaijan on a high pedestal, serving as a site for civic ceremonies and national celebrations.

The capital of The Youth

A contemporary monument commemorating Ganja's designation as the European Youth Capital in 2016.

Dayirman circle

A landmark traffic circle featuring a large millstone sculpture, referencing the city's historical milling traditions.

Məhəmməd Fizulinin heykəli

A statue dedicated to the 16th-century poet and philosopher Muhammad Fuzuli, a key figure in Azerbaijani literature.
