Huila's Unmissable Wonders

Huila is defined by the Magdalena River valley, flanked by the Central and Eastern Andes. The department contains the San Agustín Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring the Fuente de Lavapatas carvings and ancient megalithic statues. Natural landmarks include the 400-meter Salto de Bordones waterfall and the Tatacoa Desert, an arid tropical forest zone known for its red ocher canyons and astronomical clarity.
