Kawasaki offers a diverse array of specialized cultural venues. The Fujiko F Fujio Museum showcases the legacy of the creator of Doraemon, while the Taro Okamoto Museum of Art focuses on avant-garde works. History is preserved at the Nihon Minka-en, an open-air museum featuring 25 traditional farmhouses from the Edo period.
