Klaipėda’s history unfolds through a collection of sites ranging from the 13th-century Teutonic castle ruins to 20th-century military fortifications. This list features the archaeological hillforts of Laistų and Žardės, remnants of early Curonian settlements, alongside the "Black Ghost" and "Ännchen von Tharau" sculptures that reflect local folklore and Prussian literary heritage.
