These sites, such as the historic Nižná Kľaková and the reconstructed Horská chata Burda, provide essential refuge along the Rudná magistrála hiking trail. Many are situated near key landmarks like Muráň Castle or the Hucul horse breeding grounds at Veľká lúka, offering wood-heated interiors and basic facilities for long-distance trekkers exploring the karst plateau.
