Mountain Huts & Shelters

Muránska Planina National Park features a network of mountain accommodations ranging from fully serviced alpine chalets to basic wooden shelters. These sites, such as the historic Nižná Kľaková and the reconstructed Horská chata Burda, provide essential refuge along the Rudná magistrála hiking trail. Many are situated near key landmarks like Muráň Castle or the Hucul horse breeding grounds at Veľká lúka, offering wood-heated interiors and basic facilities for long-distance trekkers exploring the karst plateau.

Chata Zbojská

Mountain chalet located in the Zbojská pass, serving as a gateway to the national park with traditional Slovak architecture.
